Catherine Jacobs graduated from Detroit College of Law (now known as Michigan State University School of Law) in 1993. She began her practice in metro Detroit until moving to West Michigan with her husband and children in 2003. Catherine’s practices areas include Estate Planning and Elder Law.
She is on the board of directors of Elder Law of Michigan and Council on Aging of Kent County. She is a member of the Caregiver Resource Network. She provides education about the importance of estate planning to couples preparing for marriage through the diocese of Grand Rapids. In addition, she has been elected Trustee of Ada Township and serves on the Ada Township Planning Commission. Catherine is a member of Grand Rapids East Rotary Club. Catherine is an active parishioner at St. Robert of Newminster in Ada. She teaches faith formation classes, is a funeral luncheon volunteer and a senior citizen picnic volunteer.
When she is not busy with her career and volunteer work, Catherine enjoys cheering on her four children in their many sporting and academic events.
